The system contains:
8 × 580W = 4,640W
Therefore:
Total installed PV capacity = 4.64kWp
The actual series/parallel configuration must be selected according to the 5kVA inverter's maximum PV voltage, MPPT voltage range and maximum PV input current, as well as the exact electrical specifications of the 580W panels.
For example, the panels may be configured as strings such as 4S2P or 8S1P, but the correct configuration must be verified against the inverter and panel Voc/Vmp specifications before installation.
The 10kWh battery provides substantial energy storage for nighttime operation and grid outages.
If the battery is a 51.2V 200Ah LiFePO₄ battery:
51.2V × 200Ah = 10,240Wh
≈ 10.24kWh nominal energy capacity
At 90% usable depth of discharge:
10.24 × 0.90 ≈ 9.22kWh usable energy
Actual usable capacity depends on the battery's BMS settings and manufacturer's specified DoD.
A 5kVA inverter can deliver approximately:
5,000W ÷ 230V ≈ 21.7A
at 230V AC under full rated load.
However, the inverter should not be continuously operated at its maximum rating, particularly where the system contains refrigerators, freezers, pumps, air conditioners or other motor/compressor loads.
High-power heating loads such as electric cookers, kettles, pressing irons and water heaters should be carefully managed because they can quickly consume the available 5kW inverter capacity.
Runtime depends on the actual load.
For illustration, assuming approximately 9.2kWh usable battery energy:
| Average Load | Approx. Runtime* |
|---|---|
| 500W | ~18 hours |
| 1,000W | ~9 hours |
| 2,000W | ~4.6 hours |
| 3,000W | ~3 hours |
| 4,000W | ~2.3 hours |
| 5,000W | ~1.8 hours |
*Approximate figures. Real runtime is lower because of inverter losses, battery characteristics, temperature, battery reserve settings and varying appliance loads.
The system has 4.64kWp of installed solar PV.
Actual daily energy production depends on solar irradiation, weather, orientation, shading, temperature, system losses and MPPT performance.
As an engineering planning example, using 4.5 peak-sun-hours:
4.64kW × 4.5h = 20.88kWh/day
After allowing for normal system losses, practical daily energy delivered to loads/battery may be approximately 16–19kWh/day under good conditions.
This is an estimate, not a guaranteed production figure.
The package includes appropriate protection equipment, including:
Final breaker ratings must be selected from the actual inverter and PV module datasheets rather than using a generic rating.
Professional installation includes:
The stated 6mm² DC cable and 4mm² AC cable are package specifications. Final cable selection should be verified against cable run length, installation method, ambient temperature, voltage drop, current carrying capacity and local electrical requirements.
For long cable runs, a larger conductor may be required to maintain acceptable voltage drop.
Eight 580W panels provide substantial daytime energy production.
Large battery storage provides dependable backup during grid outages and at night.
Suitable for a wide range of residential and SME electrical loads.
Includes DC/AC breakers, surge protection and system protection accessories.
Major solar generation, storage, protection and mounting components are supplied together.
Installation and commissioning are included in the package.

The system has 4.64kW of installed solar capacity, consisting of eight 580W panels.
It has a 10kWh lithium battery bank.
It can power a substantial portion of a typical home, but not necessarily every appliance simultaneously. The total operating load must remain within the inverter's 5kVA/5kW capability.
Yes, provided the air conditioner and its starting/surge requirements are compatible with the inverter. The total simultaneous load must also remain within the inverter's limits.
Yes. A properly sized 5kVA pure-sine-wave inverter is suitable for typical refrigerator and freezer loads, subject to their starting current.
Runtime depends on the load. For example, a 1kW average load could theoretically use approximately 9 hours from around 90% usable battery capacity, before allowing for additional system variables.
Yes. Solar energy can simultaneously supply loads and charge the battery when PV production exceeds the instantaneous load.
This depends on the specific inverter and battery model. If both support parallel expansion, additional compatible battery modules can be added according to the manufacturer's specifications.
Only if the inverter's maximum PV input power, voltage and current ratings allow expansion. Additional panels should never be connected beyond the inverter's electrical limits.
Yes. Professional installation, testing and commissioning are included.
Yes. With a properly configured hybrid inverter and sufficient battery charge, the system can supply loads from solar and battery power without grid electricity.
Yes, if the selected inverter supports generator input. The generator connection and changeover arrangement should be configured by a qualified installer.
